Identity Management

Identity management (ID Management or simply IdM)  is more than simply permitting a user to log on; it controls what that user can do. A systems administrator assigns a credential of some sort, usually a number, to a worker. That number allows the employee or contractor access to the network and determines what resources can be accessed. It also can flag the administrator (through a monitoring tool) if the user somehow gains access to forbidden areas, or if the user is performing actions that may indicate an attempt to gain entry to prohibited areas.

Identity Management software is used to automate administrative tasks, such as resetting user passwords. Enabling users to reset their own passwords can save significant money and resources, since a large percentage of help desk calls are password-related. Password synchronization (p-synch) enables a user to access resources across systems with a single password; a more advanced version called single signon enables synchronization across applications as well as systems.

Al Otaiba Oil Field & Engg. Services provides best solutions for Identity Management to increase security and productivity, while decreasing cost and redundant effort.

We are well experienced to deliver IdM from following perspectives.

1.    The pure identity paradigm: Creation, management and deletion of identities without regard to access or entitlements;

2.    The user access (log-on) paradigm. By using Smart cards etc.

The service paradigm: A system that delivers personalized role-based, online, on-demand, multimedia (content), presence-based services to users and their devices.
